Indigenous Organizer
Suzanne Karihiio Dzus, a Cree Mohawk woman from the Michel First Nation, has been our Indigenous organizer since 2019. Her prior work involved advocating on behalf of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. In 2007, she started the Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Women. She helped develop the Partnerships program and was part of the global team that developed the Wrestling curriculum. She guides the affiliates in all aspects of the program and co-facilitates the Wrestling training.
